Maggie’s Center, Swansea, Wales

One of our latest projects is the new Maggie's Cancer Care Center in South West Wales. The building features our Crystal Titanium® in 1.5mm plate laser-cut inserts that fit into recesses on the curved exterior walls..

Maggie's Cancer Caring Centers are a network of drop-in centers with locations in Great Britain, Hong Kong and Barcelona, which aim to help anyone who has been affected by cancer. They are not intended as a replacement for conventional cancer therapy, but as a caring environment that can provide support, information and practical advice. The centers were founded by and named after the late Maggie Keswick Jencks, who died of cancer in 1995. Like her husband, architectural writer and critic Charles Jencks, she believed in the ability of buildings to uplift people. The buildings provide a wonderful sanctuary and place of healing, where patients can get away from the hospital setting and immerse themselves in unique and beautiful architecture and feel a sense of ease and comfort.
